"When it was time to buy my first home
as a single parent I had more than my share of
"opportunities" knocking. Not sure exactly what suited my
needs best, I turned to long time friend Duane Moore whom I've known
on a professional musician level for quite a few years. Upon initial
meeting, I was so relieved at how at ease Duane was and that there
was no sign of "pressure sale" in the air. He answered all
of my questions and concerns in a professional yet still comfortable
setting and understood exactly what it was I was searching for. Our
first choice was right location, right price, fit my daughter and
I's ideal of what we were looking for. This is where Dean and Dave
come in - not only did they both immediately offer their assistance
at any time but within minutes it seemed as if I had known them all
along too. They were so helpful, offering suggestions, pointing out
problems and Dean and I actually went to rewalk the property and he
was first to notice some roofing issues. Eventually at wits end I
chose not to purchase this property and start over...a very large
setback as my lease was up, time was running out and rental property
was not willing to extend lease on month to month basis - sign up
for another 9 month minimum or move. I spent 24 hours flipped out,
running in circles and then received a call not only from Duane who
put me back in check, got me to focus and literally put my head back
on straight but shortly after Dean called just to check in, see if I
was ok, if I needed anything...friendly little follow up call that
reinforced path of "what next". Within days a home not 1/4
of a mile from original site was located, pricing was right there,
loan was preapproved and we moved in within 3 weeks! Although since
purchasing home I have seen "the boys" rarely, through
email, duanemooreeam.com mailers to my home and word of mouth by other
associations that are dealing with them, I still feel as if they are
always here with me, looking out for my best interests and available
any time to provide their knowledge, abilities and most of all -
friendship. This was such a positive life experience that I have
